Dr. Heath Tims loves Louisiana Tech. So much so that Tech XXII (affectionately dubbed “Techie”) is a permanent four-legged family member in the Tims household. In this episode, Tonya Oaks Smith interviews Dr. Tims, an Associate Dean and a Professor in the College of Engineering and Science. He talks about his journey as both a student and a faculty member, his relationship with the campus, the challenges and competitions that often comprise the engineering programs, and, of course, what it’s like to share a home with everybody’s favorite loyal pup.
