Students in Louisiana Tech’s School of Agricultural Sciences and Forestry earned prestigious scholarships worth a staggering $20,000 each from international timber management organization Resource Management Services (RMS), LLC.
Adamantios K. “Diamond” Gorgolis, ’68, endowed a graduate research fellowship to support post-graduate Engineering programs. This investment will support graduate research assistantships tackling grand challenges in the areas of cyber security, health and wellness, and energy.
Dr. Bob and Mary Cunningham of Bossier City made a $150,000 gift to benefit Louisiana Tech University’s College of Business as a part of the University’s Forever Loyal Campaign. Their gift supported the Dr. Bob and Mary Cunningham Scholarship Fund, building and technology upgrades, and programming within the College.
Through philanthropic donations, the new softball field will be named in honor of Dr. Billy Bundrick, who gave more than 40 years of his professional career to Louisiana Tech University. The new Lady Techster’s soccer field will be named in honor of Dr. Robert Mack Caruthers, a former Petroleum Engineering professor.
The Endowed Wurster Scholarships provide financial support to help Biology students complete their undergraduate education and prepare for careers in healthcare and wellness.
Doug and Sandra Boulware’s recent gift prompted the renovation and revitalization of Louisiana Tech University’s IDEA Place. The Boulware IDEA Place provides multipurpose classroom space for the College of Education and A. E. Phillips Laboratory School.
